Naadhira and Lawyer Wadde appointed as Vice Presidents to PPM

MP for the Thulusdhoo constituency, Mohamed Waheed (Lawyer Wadde) and Aminath Naadhira have been appointed as Vice Presidents of the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).

The Secretary General of PPM appointed by President Maumoon last Sunday, Abdul Aleem, told Sun Media tonight that President Maumoon has appointed Lawyer Wadde and Aminath Naadhira to the position of Vice Presidents of the party.

Aleem said that MP for Kelaa constituency,Ali Arif was dismissed from his position as the Spokesperson of PPM and the MP for Baarah constituency, Ibrahim Shujaau was appointed to the position at the Council meeting held the PPM Head Office tonight.

Speaking at the PPM press conference tonight, the new Spokesperson of the party, Shujaau said that tonight’s Council meeting was legitimate and 11 members took part in the meeting.
