Civil Servant training with Chinese aid completed

The three-day training program for "Middle Managers Level" employees conducted by the Chinese Academy of Governance and the Maldivian Civil Service Institute has been completed.

The closing ceremony of the Professional Development Program for Middle Managers Level towards Transformation in the Executive Training Program for Maldives Civil Servants was held today at the Civil Service Training Institute.

Civil Service said that a total of 55 people took part and received certificates in the training program based on reform changes.

The certificates were awarded by the Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives, Wang Fukang and the President of Maldivian Civil Service Commission, Dr. Ali Shameem.

Participants were taught and trained in Leadership, Crisis Management and Communication at the training program conducted by the professors of the Chinese Academy of Governance.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Vice President of the Civil Service Commission, Jameela Ali Khalid called to the participants to make use the most of the training they received.

Jameela said that every participant must become a leader in light of the Leadership Training they received and noted the importance of working together with other employees with initiative at their respective work environments.

Participants of the training program said that the program enriched their knowledge and described as “eye-opening”.
