Motorbike burnt in arson attack in Hithadhoo

A motorbike parked in a house in Hithadhoo, Addu City has been burnt in an arson attack.

The incident was reported to Hithadhoo Police Station at approximately 2:30 am on Sunday.

The PCX motorbike burnt in the attack was damaged beyond repair.

Those living in the house where the incident took place reported that they only got aware of the burning motorbike when the outdoor unit of the air-conditioning system in the house caught fire, resulting in a power outage.

No one suffered any bodily harm in the incident.

The case is under investigation by police.
