Chairman of Pakistan’s Senate arrives in Maldives

Chairman of Pakistan’s Senate, Raza Rabbani has arrived in Maldives on an official visit upon invitation by Speaker of People’s Majlis of Maldives, Abdulla Maseeh Mohamed.

Senator Rabbani was greeted upon arrival at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) on Saturday night by Maseeh and People’s Majlis Majority Leader, Vilimale’ MP Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik, as well as a number of other lawmakers.

Rabbani is scheduled to have an official meeting with Maseeh this Sunday.

His visit comes after an official visit by Chairman of Majlis al-Shura, Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali’s visit to Maldives last September.
