Talks held to stamp finance of terrorism

National Counter Terrorism Center and Maldives Monetary Authority has held discussions on possible measures to stop finance of terrorism.

The discussions were held at National Counter Terrorism Center on Tuesday, and was headed by Minister of Defense – Adam Shareef Umar and Governor of MMA – Dr. Azeema Adam.

The discussions centered on possible collaborative measures to stop finance of terrorism and identifying and stopping crimes such as money laundering.

Senior officials from National Counter Terrorism Center attended the discussions.
