STO selected platinum sponsor of Investment Forum

State Trading Organization (STO) has been selected as the platinum sponsor of Maldives Investment Forum (MIF) 2016.

The agreement between STO and Ministry of Economic Development was signed in a ceremony held at Special Economic Zone (SEZ) headquarter this Wednesday; by Deputy

Minister of Economic Development Adam Thaufeeq and Managing Director of STO Ahmed Shaheer.

Speaking to press after signing the agreement, STO MD Shaheer said that MIF was a successful forum and a great opportunity for business networking.

MIF 2016 will be held in New Delhi, India from November 21 to 22.

The opportunity is open for businesses which wish to be partners of MIF 2016; in platinum, gold and silver category.

Platinum partners need to provide USD 35,000, gold partners USD 25,000 and silver partners USD 15,000.

MIF is an event initiated by the government to provide information regarding investment opportunities available in Maldives to foreign investors.
