1 dead, 2 injured after wall collapses in Narudhoo

A wall of a building in Sh. Narudhoo which was being taken down collapsed on top of people leaving one dead and two injured.

Vice President of Narudhoo Council, Abdulla Azumy reported that the incident took place at approximately 9 am, this Tuesday morning.

He said that the wall had collapsed on top of three people.

The hospital has confirmed the death of one Ahmed Mufeedh, 58, Irumathyge, Sh. Narudhoo.

A second man has been transported to H. Dh. Kulhudhuffushi with critical injuries, while the third man escaped with relatively minor injuries.
