Eid-al-Adha would be on the 12th

High Judiciary Council of Saudi Arabia has decided that Eid-al-Adha 2016 would be on 12 September since the Moon for the month of Zul Hijja was not seen.

And so the 1 Zul Hijja would be on 3 September making 11 September the Day of Arafat.

Khaleej Times, a daily English news website of the UAE, reported that UAE officials did not witness the Moon of Zul Hijja.
