Labor Park to be built in Gulhi Falhu for migrant workers

Gulhi Falhu Investment Limited (GIL) has made the decision to build a Labor Park in Gulhi Falhu to improve the quality of life of migrant workers living in Maldives.

GIL released a press statement last Tuesday, in which it said that the Labor Park was a government initiative, and that they wanted to build labor quarters, kitchen, mess room and entertainment facilities in the park.

GIL announced that interested parties needed to send their Expression of Interest before September 22.

The company said that only parties that sent EOIs would be allowed to send in estimates to build the park.

Maldives hosts a large population of migrant workers – most of them from neighboring South East Asian countries.
