Police have reported that Irufan Rushdee, 21, from M. Kuriruge in Male’ – one of the suspects in the murder of 14-year-old Fathir Mohamed Ali - was still on the run, 57 days since the violent murder.
Police media official spoke to “Sun” on Sunday and said that Irufan was still on the run, and that police were still on his pursuit.
Fathir was murdered on June 3, as revenge for an earlier murder of another 14-year-old – Ahmed Irushan Hilmy – the same day.

Ibaadhath was arrested in a special operation by police on June 24 from Hulhumale’ – and is being kept in detention.
Meanwhile, police arrested 7 individuals in Irushan’s murder – 6 of them, minors.
