Indian airline GoAir considers starting flights to Maldives

The fifth largest Indian airline – GoAir has said it was considering expanding their operations to Maldives.

A senior official from GoAir talked to the media that the airlines was considering expanding its operations to Maldives, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, UAE, China and Thailand.

The official said that the airlines was currently working on obtaining permits needed for the expansion, and that they had already gotten the greenlight to start operations to Iran, Turkey,

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan – destinations that no Indian airline has direct flights to.

The airline has 20 aircrafts in their fleet.
