Hulhumale’ regains electricity after 2 hours

Electricity services have resumed in Hulhumale’ after two hours of interrupted service on Wednesday afternoon.

Media coordinator of State Electric Company (Stelco), Ibrahim Raoof reported that electricity services were interrupted when the engine went out due to a technical issue.

He said that the issue has now been resolved, and electricity services up and running once more.

Many citizens have complained over the inconvenience, coming at a time everyone was busy making preparations for Eid al-Fitr feast.
