Qasim invited to join United Opposition by Adhaalath

Adhaalath Party has invited the Leader of the Jumhooree Party (JP), Qasim Ibrahim to join the Maldives Unites Opposition (MUO).

Vice President of Adhaalath Party, Ali Zahir and the former Islamic Minister, Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Baree presented the invitation to the JP Leader at a meeting tonight.

Talking to Sun Media after the meeting, the Vice President of Adhaalath Party, Ali Zahir said that the offer has been made to Qasim to join the MUO and he is yet to make a decision.

“Qasim is very positive, said he’ll give an answer after thinking on it.” Zahir said.

The supporters of President Yameen and Umar Naseer, who has announced his candidacy in the upcoming election, have also met with Qasim Ibrahim recently.
