MDP Council holds secret meeting regarding political situation in country

Opposition, Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) National Council has held a secret meeting to discuss the current political situation in the country.

Deputy Chairperson of MDP, Ali Niyaz informed “Sun” that the meeting was held at 10 pm – 11 pm, Saturday night, at Marble Hotel.

Niyaz said that information National Council members were updated on the latest happenings in the country’s political arena. And that members exchanged ideas and held discussions.

The meeting was chaired over by Deputy Chairman of MDP, Ali Shiyam.
