Court orders Mandhu College to repay loan of MVR 3 million to Education Fund

Civil Court has passed a verdict ordering Mandhu College to repay the MVR 3 million loan it took from the Education Fund in 2010.

The verdict passed by the Civil Court on 22 June 2016 says that the Education Fund gave a MVR 3 million loan to Mandhu College and the presented documents show that the repayment of the loan has not been going as per the loan agreement.

The court ordered that the loan payment, along with the MVR 161,111 as interest as of 30 December 2014, be paid in full within one year.

The verdict was passed on High Pvt. Ltd. that operates Mandhu College.
