Criminal Court goes to recess starting tomorrow

The Judges Council at the Criminal Court has decided that the court would be going to recess starting tomorrow up to 30 June.

A circular at the Criminal Court says that the Judges Council has decided that he Court would be going to recess in two phases. And so the first recess of the year would be from 16 - 30 June and the second recess would be from 1 - 15 December.

Criminal Court said that although the case proceedings would be minimal during recess, other facilities would be on going.

That includes remand hearings, administration work moving forward without pausing.
