Sinaan appointed Chairman of Stelco

Sinaan Ali has been appointed Chairman of State Electric Company (Stelco).

President of Privatization Board, Mohamed Nizar confirmed that Sinaan was removed from his post as a member of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) and appointed

Chairman of Stelco on Monday.

Sinaan, who received the national award in journalism is also the Chief Executive Officer of Sun Media Group.

Former Chairman of Stelco Mohamed Afeef Hussain (Ma. Tharijehi Aage) was removed from his post on May 18.
