Haleem appointed MD of MRDC

Abdul Razzaq Haleem, who had been serving as Chief Executive Officer of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) was removed from the post, and appointed Managing

Director of Maldives Road Development Corporation (MRDC) on Monday.

Former Managing Director of MRDC, Ibrahim Nazeem was removed from the post on Sunday, and has allegations of corruption hovering over his head.

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has requested with Prosecutor General’s office to prosecute him over embezzlement of over MVR 1 million from the corporation.
