5 injured in fight in Addu

Five people were left injured in a fight which ensued between two groups in S. Hithadhoo on Saturday night.

Police media official reported that five were injured and taken to Hithadhoo Regional Hospital for treatment – on of them with a stab wound.

Neither police, nor Hithadhoo Regional Hospital have yet released details of the extent of the injuries.

Police report they have arrested four people in connection with the incident.
