Former Vice President Ahmed Adheeb has been sentenced to ten years in prison by the Criminal Court for possession of two pistols and explosives.
The verdict from the Criminal Court said that the former Vice President has been found guilty.
For national security reasons, the sentencing hearing was held behind closed doors.
Three people gave closed testimonies saying that the former Vice President had two pistols and explosives at his apartment at Galolhu Humasheege. And one of the three witnesses said that Adheeb had a pistol and explosives at his apartment at Rehendhi Flat.
