Arabiyya to train teachers to teach Arabic in a modern method

Madhrasathul Arabiyyathul Islaamiyya has decided to conduct a special workshop to train teachers to teach Arabic in a modern method.

At the workshop set to begin on 1 June, teachers would be given information by the Secretary General of the World Federation of Arab Islamic International Schools, Professor Abdul Fattah Soliman Ahmad Abdallah, currently visiting the Maldives on the invitation of the Islamic Minister, Dr. Ahmed Ziyad.

Islamic Ministry said that at the workshop, teachers would be informed of things to keep in mind when teaching Arabic.

The Ministry said that a delegation from the World Federation of Arab Islamic International Schools was invited to the Maldives to rekindle the Islamic traditions in the Maldives and provide technical assistance to the Islamic and Arabic schools and universities in the country.

The delegation from the World Federation of Arab Islamic International Schools includes the Secretary General, his wife, assistance and Personal Secretary.

The delegation met with the Islamic Minister today.

World Federation of Arab Islamic International Schools is run by the Organization of Islamic Cooporation (OIC). The federation works to safeguard and protect the interests of the Muslim world in the spirit of promoting international peace and harmony as the collective voice of the Muslim world and has built schools across the globe and has been providing technical assistance in promoting the Islamic faith and the Arabic language.
