Sun’s Minha wins WOB Best Young Professional Award

Sun Media Group General Manager – Sales and Marketing, and Head of Programs, Minha Faiz has won the Best Young Professional Award 2016 by Women on Boards.

WOB – an organization that aims to empower women and give recognition to women performing well in the workplace at leadership roles, said that Minha was given the award due to her experience in working in leadership roles in a wide range of fields at such a young age.

Minha was given the award in the WOB awarding ceremony held at Bandos Island Resort, Saturday night.

A self-professed workaholic, Minha is seen on the frontlines of many of the projects run by Sun Media Group.

Some of her noteworthy work includes designing and coordinating the popular “Sun Rashah” series run by the media corporation, as well as producing the annual “Vaa Handhaanakun” series released by the corporation.

She is also seen in the frontlines of social activities run by SMG.

In addition to managing SMG, the talented young businesswoman also runs a side business – “Dreams by Minnu” - in which she designs and creates dresses for weddings, parties, and other events.

Some of her achievements include being awarded Senior Member of Royal Institute of Mass Communication in Singapore, this year.
