Madaveli man arrested for beating ex-wife

A man has been arrested from G. Dh. Madaveli for beating his ex-wife.

Police reported that the 32-year-old man was arrested under court order Friday night.

The man allegedly went to the house where the woman lives and beat her sometime on Friday.

A member of Madaveli Council reported to “Sun” that the woman received injuries to her ribs and lower-stomach in the beating – for which she received treatment at Madaveli Health Center.
