Thinadhoo magistrate arrested for alleged drug abuse

Ibrahim Rasheed, a magistrate of G. Dh. Thinadhoo has been arrested for alleged drug abuse.

The 38-year-old magistrate was arrested in an operation run by Thinadhoo Police Station, Friday night.

Police said that he was inebriated when arrested.

They said that a rubber packet which looks to contain narcotics was found on the ground from where he was arrested.

The case is being investigated by Thinadhoo Police Station.
