Cyryx College held their 2016 graduation ceremony, Cyryx College Convocation 2016, at Dharubaaruge.
A total of 238 students who completed the Certificate, Diploma, Degree and Masters level courses graduated at the ceremony last night. And the awards for students of the college that achieved international accomplishments, Chairman’s Award for high achievers and the award for the most distinguished student, “Ogaru Faaiza Ali Award for Excellance” was presented at the ceremony.
The award was won by Ali Mamdhooh who completed Master of Business Administration.
The Chief Guest at the ceremony, Home Minister Umar Naseer spoke at the ceremony advising the students not to waste time at the work environment and use time productively. And said not to be discouraged in life and work hard until success is achieved.
Home Minister Umar Naseer commemorated the 22 years of service to the higher education in the Maldives by Cyryx College. And he congratulated the Chairman of the College, Ahmed Shareef and the entire staff.
Rector of the college, Dr. Ahmed Shaahid also spoke at the ceremony saying that Cyryx College works to increase the education and skill capability of their students. And advised that the students be always interested in learning more.
