Elderly man stabbed in Male’

An elderly man was stabbed in his home in Male’, on Thursday.

Police information officer spoke to “Sun” and said that the incident took place in M. Naseemee.

Police said the 80-year-old man who was stabbed received no serious injuries.

And that the Maldivian man who allegedly stabbed him was now under arrest.

The elderly man is being treated at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
