F&B Show logo-printed, biodegradable shopping bags supplied to shops

Highrise has started distributing biodegradable shopping bags with the logo of Food and Beverage Show printed on it to promote the event scheduled for June.

The show – targeting businesses operating in food and beverage industry of the country – is being organized by High Rise Private Limited.

An official from Highrise spoke to “Sun” on Monday and said that the shopping bags would be distributed to all shops in Male’ – 100 apiece.

The official said that arrangements will be made for shops that want more of the shopping bags. And asked that they call the company.

The Food and Beverage Show will be held at National Art Gallery on June 2, 3 and 4; from 2 pm to 11 pm.

The main sponsor of the event is Nestle, the co-sponsors Sunny Enterprises Private Limited and Astrabon Maldives.

The official from Highrise said that the purpose of the event was to display products of food and beverage businesses that operate in Maldives – all under one roof.

“Customers won’t be able to purchase items on the spot. But they can place orders for items they wish to purchase from here,” said the official.

There is no entrance fee for the show. And participants stand the chance of winning special prizes, daily.
