President travels to Hoarafushi

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom left on an official visit to H. A. Hoarafushi, Monday morning.

He is accompanied on the trip by parliamentarian and leader of Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) -Ahmed Siyam Mohamed, Minister of Environment and Energy - Thoriq Ibrahim, Minister of Economic Development - Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Youth and Sports - Ahmed Zuhoor, and Minister of Tourism - Moosa Zameer.

President is scheduled to officially inaugurate the sewage system built in Hoarafushi, as well as launch the island’s coastal protection project.

He was originally scheduled to visit Hoarafushi last Monday, but postponed the trip due to bad weather.
