Villingili Councilor arrested in relation to drugs

Member of the Gaafu Alifu Villingili Island Council, PPM’s Nadheem Mohamed has been arrested yesterday in relation to a drug crime.

Police Media Official told Sun Media tonight that a court order was executed yesterday searching Thandiraimaage in Villingili where cellophane bags and empty film canisters with traces of suspected drugs were found.

And said that a 29-year-old local man was arrested in relation to the search and the court has remanded him by ten days.
