Health to conduct quality control op. on food and beverage shops

Health Ministry has announced their decision to conduct a special operation for quality control of businesses that’s sell food and beverage products.

The announcement was made on Thursday after a video emerged of a shop washing fruits and vegetable products using dirty, floodwater from the street.

Questions over hygiene have also arisen over people brushing their teeth and bathing in the area in Fish Market where all the fish are cut, and over the issue of cats roaming arund freely in Valhoamas Market.

Health Ministry has said that they are looking into the issues.
