MNDF advises against diving and sea sports

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has advised against diving and sea sports due to the rough seas and bad weather.

With the warning from the National Meteorological Service about the weather ahead, MNDF said that they advise not me trips across the sea unless it’s absolutely necessary.

MNDF said that the Coastguard have received numerous reports about vessels in distress and so advise caution and take all safety measures during travels and requested that cargo vessels don’t load goods above the limit.

The MNDF also advised to give special attention to the vessels in the lagoons.
