Ooredoo introduces Fixed Broadband Internet

Ooredoo Maldives have in launched their fixed broadband internet with Super Net Fixed Broadband.

The service was launched at the ongoing Ooredoo Music Night at the Henveiru Artificial. The service was launched by the Home Minister Umar Naseer.

Ooredoo is the third company to provide broadband internet in the Maldives. The company got their Internet Service Provider (ISP) license in 15 July 2015.

Speaking at the launching ceremony tonight, Home Minister Umar Naseer said that it is a target of the government to develop the ISP sector in a competitive environment. And he said that the Maldives is significantly progressive in the region in the sector.

CEO of Ooredoo Maldives Vikram Singha also spoke at the ceremony saying that the company has always been working to bring the latest technology to the public and make work easier.

The Ooredoo CEO said that high speed internet would be provided across the country in the future.
