Man injured in group violence

A man has been injured in a group violence tonight in Malé City.

The man was on Vaijehey Magu in Henveiru when three people that came on motorcycles attacked him.

Police said that the man that was taken to the hospital did not sustain any serious injuries.

The Police Media Official said that the men who instigated the attack fled the scene leaving the motorcycles they came on. And the three motorcycles are now in the custody of the Police and the crime is being investigated.

The Police are still active in the area.

Two incidents of gang violence took place in Malé City towards the end of April.
