Chief Magistrate of the Fuvahmulah sector retires

The Chief Magistrate of the Fuvahmulah, the 40-year veteran judge, Ibrahim Shareef has retired.

His retirement was announced at the closing ceremony of the Judge’s Forum today at the hall of the Islamic Center. The Chief of Justice, Abdulla Saeed presented the Silver Gravel to Judge Shareef to commemorate 40 years of his service.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief of Justice said that the 40 years of service by Judge Shareef is invaluable.

This is the first ceremony where a retiring judge was presented the Silver Gravel.
