50 people food poisoned from a resort in Baa atoll

A total of 50 people working at “Finolhu” island resort, under development, in Baa atoll have been food poisoned.

Manager of the Atoll Hospital in Baa Eydhafushi, Ahmed Waheed told Sun Media that 50 people from the resort have reported to be food poisoned. And he said that 25 of those people are now being treated at the Atoll Hospital.

“Still 25 more people would come according to our information.” Waheed said.

He said that none of the 25 people being treated at the hospital is in a serious condition.

Waheed told Sun Media that ten people have been admitted and is being treated for stomachaches and vomiting.
