The five people that were arrested in relation to the death of Nadaal Rasheed, 25, - from H. Dhoohimerige – who fell to his death from the 6th floor of Ma. Beyrumatheege on 13 December 2014, have been remanded by 15 days.
A decision on their remand was made when they were taken to the Criminal Court.
Police said that they arrested a woman of 24-year-old and four men of the ages, 21, 22, 24 and 25.
The Head of the Serious and Organized Crime Department of the Police, Superintendent Abdulla Shatheeh has previously said that the four people at the sixth floor apartment of Ma.Beyrumatheege on the night that Nadhaal Rasheed fell off the balcony, tested positive for cannabis.
And at the press conference last year, Police said that thethe victim’s blood was also tested positive for cannabis.
Superintendent Shatheeh previously said that according to his doctor, Nadhaal Rasheed died at the hospital due to the injuries he sustained. And he had two fractures on the back of his skull when he was brought to the hospital.
