Two injured in collision between a bicycle and a motorcycle

Two people have been injured in a traffic collision between a bicycle and a motorcycle in Malé City.

Talking to Sun Media, Police Media Official said that a collision took place this evening near the Olympus Cinema.

It was heavily raining in the city at the time.

Police confirmed to Sun Media that two people were injured in the collision and one of them was a woman.

Sun Media Journalists in the area at the time of the incident said that the woman sustained a head injury in the collision and was seemingly taken to the hospital in a van of the shop, Colors.

Other witnesses say that the collision took place when the bicycle going the opposite side of the road hit the motorcycle.

While the Police say that two people were injured, the details of the injuries sustained by the second person involved in the collision in unclear. Sources say that the two are being treated at ADK Hospital.
