President shares his “transformational agenda” for Maldives with World Bank

President Abdulla Yameen, on Saturday, shared his transformational agenda for Maldives with World Bank during courtesy call made by Vice President of World Bank, Annette Dixon.

President’s Office’s press release regarding the courtesy call said that Yameen and Dixon discussed progress of ongoing projects run in Maldives with the help of World Bank, and also possibilities of future projects that could be run together – especially waste-to-energy and fisheries projects.

President’s Office said that Dixon complemented Yameen on his efforts to create more jobs – especially for the youth of the country.

The meeting was also attended by Finance Minister Abdulla Jihad and Undersecretary of President’s Office – Mohamed Naseer.
