Auditions for PSM Children’s Quran competition begins in five islands

The auditions for the annual Children’s Quran competition organized by the Public Service Media (PSM) have begun across the country.

Previously, contestants come to Malé City to take part in the competition. But this year, PSM has decided to travel to the islands with three judges.

An official from the organizing team of the competition told Sun Media that the audition is being held at Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi today. And so a number of children taking part in the competition from the island.

“We are coming to islands and recording recitations of the competitors and taking it back. That way, it is easier for the competitors.” The Official said.

The PSM official said that the judges are set to view the recordings and give marks to them.

The auditions for the PSM Children’s Quran Competition are taking place at Malé City, Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi, Seenu Hithadhoo, Laamu Funadhoo and Raa Ungoofaaru.
