Sun has received information that he was arrested in relation to a report published by Former National Security Advisor Ameen Faisal and former Housing Minister Mohamed Aslam titled ‘The Coup by the Police and armed forces’.
Hameed is accused of having provided false information which is deemed to undermine people’s trust in the security forces, thus violating the responsibility of a Police officer.
