2 Maldivians arrested in Lanka with 1 kilo heroin

Two Maldivians have been arrested in Sri Lanka with 1 kilo of heroin.

Sri Lankan newspapers have reported that the two Maldivians were arrested from a hotel in Bambalapitiya.

Police have not yet revealed personal details regarding the two Maldivians arrested.

Lanka Police Spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police Gunasekara confirmed the arrest to Sri Lankan media.
