Chief of Defend Force has returned to the Maldives after Islamic military seminar

Chief of Defense Force, Major General Ahmed Shiyam has returned to the Maldives today after attending a seminar to the ranking chiefs of the United Islamic Military led by Saudi Arabia.

General Shiyam was welcomed at Ibrahim Nasir International Airpot (INIA) this afternoon by the Deputy Chief of Defend Force, Brigadier General Ahmed Shahid and the ranking officials of the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF).

The Chief of Defence Force met with the leading officials of other militaries on his visit to Saudi for the seminar from 25 - 29 of March.

At the seminar held in Riyad, Saudi, the leaders of the Islamic Militia discussed the global terrorism crisis on how to bring an end to it and how the countries could work together towards that goal.
