Finance Ministry donates MVR 45,000 to Hulhumalé orphanage

The employees of the Finance Ministry has donated MVR 45,000 and other items to the orphanage built in Hulhumalé.

At a ceremony held at the orphanage today, the donations were parented to the orphanage by the Finance Minister Abdulla Jihad.

The donations were accepted on behalf of the orphanage by it's CEO, Eenaz Adnaan.

Minister Jihad said that it was money raised by the employees in the past two days as part of the Finance Recreation Club's public service.

This is the first such donation of it's kind to the Hulhumalé orphanage. The Finance Ministry has been making similar donations to orphanages before.

And so the Ministry donated MVR 50,000 to the orphanage last year.

At the ceremony today, CEO Eenaz said that the hope is that the ministry would continue to make donations.
