Fire at Cinamalé-1 controlled

A fire had taken place at Cinamalé-1 MNDF said that the for has now been controlled.

The fire was at the northern building towards Buruzu Magu and the area is covered with thick smoke. It is believed that the fire was on the top floor of the building.

Evacuation of the building is underway with a collaborated effort of the MNDF Fire and Rescue and the public.

Information Officer of the MNDF, Major Adnaan Mohamed said that the fire has now been controlled and the cause of it is unknown at the time. He said that there are no word of any injuries in the fire.

Cinamalé-1 is the first building to be built under the Cinamalé Project. The fire damages at the heavily populated building is unclear at the time.
