11 arrested under special operation

In a special operation being conducted by the Police searching locations frequented Masodi gtoup, 11 people have been arrested.

Information Officer of the Police, Ismail Ali told Sun Media that seven of those people were arrested from M. Jade. And the other four were arrested during the search of a residence at Vilimalé.

He said that the Police began a search at M. Jade this morning at 9:30 a.m. with a court order.

It is suspected that Police Masodige on 18 March and attacked a group of people from Masodi inside they house.

Regarding there accusations, Police has asked to report it to the Integrity Commission and the Human Rights Commission (HRCM) if there is evidence of such an act.
