Over MVR 100,000 stolen from Coffee Club safe

Over MVR 100,000 has been stolen from the safe of Coffee Club located at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA).

Media Official of Police told Sun Media that the theft from Coffee Club was reported at 7:30 a.m. this morning although it is unclear when the theft occurred.

Police said that the safe was not broken into but was opened with the code. The stolen money include MVR 90,000 and USD 6,000.

While no arrests had been made so far in the case, Police say that the investigation is ongoing.
