Fire in Hithadhoo destroy 90 percent of the house

A fire at a house in Hithadhoo, Addu City, has destroyed a large portion of the house.

The for broke out at Kaneeru Villa on the island where four expatriates were living in.

Information Officer of MNDF told Sun Media that the fire was reported at 11:43 a.m. and was extinguished by 11:52 a.m.

The fire spread to three rooms in the incident and caused massive damage. The MNDF Information Officer said that about 90 percent of the house was destroyed.

No one was injured in the fire.
