As a government bill on gender quality has made it’s way to the Parliament, it has rejected the bill by the opposition MDP’s MP, Rozaina Adam on amending the Local Governance Law to accept the Presidents of the Councils and Women’s Committees under City and Island Councils as members of the Island Council.
