President: Judiciary is a sector that always needs to be amended

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has said that the Judiciary System is a sector that needs constant amendments.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the A.Dh. Maamigili Water System, President Yameen said that every sector by nature needs amendments and improving the level of Judges and amending regulation and conduct guide for them is something that needs to done all the time.

The President said that even the laws of the most popular democracies are not made once altogether and stay that way. And when the situations change, amendments would be made to them.

President Yameen said that the international community needs the trust that the Maldivian Judiciary would rule fairly and with haste.

And that is why it is important to strengthen the Judiciary and cases are resolved quickly.
