MNDF Fire and Rescue has begun inspecting the fuel bowsers being used in Malé City.
The two-day inspections began today is to make sure that the bowers in use meet the regulation standard of the laws.
MNDF said that if the bowers meet the standards, a grey sticker would be put on for a duration of one year. And if there are adjustments to be made, a red sticker would be put on for six months.
And so during the inspects that took place South of the Kalhuthukalaakoshi military base today, a number of bowers were inspected.
Police and the Transport Authority are also taking part in the fuel bower inspections according to MNDF.
